SHOEBOX APPEAL
On Monday, November 20th, Team Hope arrived at our school to collect the 147 shoe boxes we had collected for the children in need. There was huge excitement in every classroom. The children were expecting them and waiting for them all morning. They arrived at 11. The children were very efficient and very focused on getting the job done and operation Shoe Box started. Moving quickly they got into line received the Shoe Box , brought it out to the car, turned and back in for another one. It was great fun. Let me take this opportunity to thank you all for your kindness and generosity. I know it is not easy. I had to make 2. One for my Grand Daughter and one for my Grandson. I was exhausted. We started in Penny's moved onto the Euro shop and then to Mr.Price. I didn't have the ready made decorated boxes. I had the arduous task of covering a shoe box with Christmas paper. It took me forever!! I do have some idea of the time and the effort it took to make sure your child brought in a Shoe Box or two into school for such a worthy cause. Once again Thank You so much.
