Our class recently entered a competition to help raise awareness about sustainability and the environment. The competition was run by the Louth County Council.
We did some brainstorming and came up with super slogans like ‘ Be a Star, Drive an Electric Car’ and ‘Nurture Nature’. The children then drew a picture to accompany the slogan.
We received some wonderful news that Seàn Keller in our class came 3rd in the competition championing his slogan ‘Let the Wind Blow, Let the Electricity flow’. Seàn drew some wonderful wind turbines and will receive a voucher from Easons.
Congratulations to all the children that entered the competition. The posters of the competition will be on display in the library in the coming weeks.
